Cape Cod Pro-Am League Off For Summer
The league's spring season ended on June 25th at Bay Pointe.
The fall season debuts on September 3rd at the Bayberry Hills Course in South Yarmouth.
Bob Pandolfi takes a slim 140 to 136 lead over Tom Johnson in the year-long Sullivan Points standing for league professionals into the fall tournament schedule. Pros are awarded points on a sliding scale based on each week's finish.
Pandolfi notched wins at the first two league tournaments in April and recorded a number of high finishes to reach his perch atop the standings. Johnson has likewise won two events.
Six time Sullivan winner Jeff Dantas and Bob Giusti of Halifax each won three events during the spring session
but limited appearances have them in third and sixth place respectively in the standings. Another two-time winner, Rusty Gunnarson occupies fourth place.
Amateur Joe Keller leads in the race for the Gaquin Cup which is awarded to the amateur with the most outright
tournament wins at the end of the season. Keller recorded three overall amateur victories in the spring.
Tom Lee is his closest pursuer with two wins.
